Aaron Thompson and Jessica King acquired a property with the help of Oliver Smith Realty and Development that is located at 108 W. Jackson Ave. They created an Italian restaurant called Osteria Stella. The restaurant has no take away boxes so the food has to be enjoyed there because they say that food should be eaten when it is ready. They do their own butchering and make all the pasta on site. Since opening their doors, Osteria Stella has been a raging success; however, reservations are nearly essential to get a table since they gained national recognition. Additionally, Jessica and Aaron hope their guests forget about their cell phones and lose track of time with their favorite people, just like the people in the small cafe in Rome did that gave Jessica the idea for Osteria Stella.
