In August, we reported on a new land deal in Sevierville TN, the future home of Soaky Mountain Water park.  Now in 2020 we are happy to report that construction is well underway with a planned opening on August 6th, 2020.

The 50-acre park will have invested nearly 90 Million to create our newest summer destination.  This winter has seen the construction of many of the large wave pools, slide towers, buildings and slides.  Dave Andrews has been named general manager and will oversee day to day operations.

Attractions will be available for all ages and include:

  • A Massive wavepool (Soaky Surge)
  • A children’s area (The Hive)
  • The Avalaunch Watercoaster, a totally new experience never seen before in east Tennessee
  • A lazy river that is more of an adventure river complete with wave action.

Soaky Mountain has launched a website that has descriptions and photos of all the park’s attractions.  You will soon be able to purchase tickets from $39.99 to $69.99.

Soaky Mountain will be a large employer in the area. Applications will open soon.
