The new Embassy Suites at 507 S. Gay Street is nearing completion. The new hotel is positioned to be not only a place to stay, but a place to play.  A variety of entertainment and dining options will be available when the property opens in November.

“On such a prominent location for downtown, opening t up with accessible features to the local community for non-hotel guiests was really important”

– Alpesh Patel, Chief Executive Officer of the Kana Hotel Group.

Here is a little taste of what’s to come.

KBrew, a Knoxville based coffee and bagel shop will open it’s 3rd location just inside the main entrance.

TopGolf will feature a digtial/interactive experience. Visitor can not only try their hand at the virtual driving range, but play hundreds of courses or fantasy golf games like Zombie Dodgeball.

Taking up residence on the mezzanine level will be Knox Mason.  Once located on south Gay Street, Executive Chef and owner Matt Galaher is looking forward to his new expanded venue at the Embassy Suites building.  Knox Mason will be an open to the public restaurant and provide tapas for the Top Golf Suites and room service.

On the 14th Floor a yet to be named rooftop bar is under construction.  It will feature floor to cieling windows giving visitors fantastic views of Knoxville and the Smokey Mountains.

On the first floor, Wake Foot Sanctuary from Asheville NC will open it’s third location.

All the facilities are open to the public.  Patel and his design team envision the property as not simply a hotel but a destination for everyone visiting or living in Knoxville.

The Hotel itself will feature 176 mostly 2 bedroom suites.  Some suites will contain stationary exercise bikes and fitness equipment so you can workout right in your room.  There will also be 2 banquet areas and cocktail reception space.

The anticipated opening is November of this year, so make plans for a visit when your in town this fall.
