Boghani Properties LLC has acquired the Emporium and a parking structure in a deal brokered by Will Sims of Oliver Smith Realty and Development, who handles property acquisitions and developments for Boghani Properties. The Emporium at 100 S. Gay Street and the sheltered parking structure at 121 State Street have been purchased for $24.75 Million from downtown developer David Dewhirst. The building is now an artistic hub with gallery, studio, and event space for the Arts and Culture Alliance following a redevelopment by David Dewhirst. However, no news has been shared about the future plans of the Emporium or the parking structure.
