HD Patel, founder of Ephant Group and client and partner with Oliver Smith Realty and Development Company, has invested in multiple properties in downtown Knoxville since May 2021. Patel has recently applied for a beer permit for the Hyatt Place, a hotel with a rooftop bar located on Gay Street.
